The skin is prone to different infections and inflammations. Skin ulcer is acute inflammation sebaceous and sweat glands. This is a bacterial infection of the skin, and very often is followed with pain, swelling, redness and pus inflammation.

Skin Ulcer Cause

  • Bacterial Infection (Staphylococcus pyogenes).

  • Diabetics: poorly nourished people, people suffering from diseases of the intestinal system, and persons with weakened immune systems are at higher risk for getting ulcers.
  • Insufficient intake of vitamin B complex and zinc increases the risk of getting ulcers.

  • Due to corticosteroid therapy

Ulcer on the face

Ulcers on the face tends to occur in people with fatty and seborrheic skin type, due to inflammation of the sebaceous glands and bacterial infections. Inadequate hygiene of the face and the use of inadequate care products only increases the risk of ulcer on his face.

Do not burst abscesses. Ulcers that do burst on their own, soak a clean piece of cloth in warm water, wring it and thus cover the painful area, hold until the fabric has cooled down. Repeat every 2 hours to speed up treatment.

For Ulcers on hands and legs add to the bathing water 2 handfuls of epsom salts and lie down in it for 15 minutes every day.

If an abscess, ulcer or carbuncle breaks, do not take a swim or stay long under water, just take a fast shower to reduce the risk of spreading infection.

Warm patches accelerate the maturation abscesses and superficial ulcers. You can take marshmallow, red elm, and burdock. Warm compresses of cabbage helps extracting pus from ulcers.
